Chasing Failure

Failing is everyone’s least favourite thing.

We all want success. We all want to achieve our aim and hit our target.

Failing is a part of everything just as much as success. Success and failure go together just as short and tall, and oil and water.

Yet…

What would you do if failure was impossible? Because there is a way to make it impossible.

Two Sources of Failure

Failure is from two situations. It is an outcome from mistakes and shortcomings. It is also a choice from saying this is too much and I give up.

Mistakes and shortcoming are opportunities to learn and try again with better experience.

Giving up and never trying again is failure.

So what could happen if you didn’t give up on your dream?

  • Can you go write the LSAT, MCAT or GMAT again? Even if you’ve been told to give up.
  • Can you keep applying to that company as you keep building up your skill set? So someday you’ll get the interview.
  • Can you keep pushing yourself slightly further everyday? So you can have a better result next time.
