The Difference Between “The” And “A”
Mindset is Everything
Over the last week, I’ve been picking up on a concept that I never really noticed much before.
Now I am noticing it everywhere.
It is that there is a difference between “the” and “a”. And the difference matters. Especially when its related to something that matters to you.
I started noticing it spontaneously. No one pointed it out to me. I simply just realized there is a difference between “the” and “a”.
It is a difference that as a native english speaker I’ve unknowingly known my whole life.
This year I have one big goal. That goal is simple(ish). My one goal is to find and start building a hobby that will help me to move faster and closer to my dream of opening my own store. To build up a side income I can use to invest into my next chapter.
I started thinking about opening my own store and brainstorming what I would specialize in and sell this time last year — last February. I looked at those ideas everyday for a while then I gave up. I convinced myself it was never going to happen.
There was too much risk.
The cost to start is too high.
No one would support me.
